What is prolapse surgery?

Pelvic Organ Prolapse (also known as vaginal prolapse) is when the pelvic organs drop down out of their usual position and can occur from the womb/uterus, bladder (cystocele), bowel (rectocele/enterocele) or top of the vagina (vault prolapse). It can cause a bulge, lump or discomfort feeling in the vagina, as well as bladder and bowel symptoms. We offer non-surgical and surgical treatment options.
