We are a team of internationally recognised expert gynaecologists offering private medical care that is patient-centred and holistic. We are based at the world-renowned John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and privately at The Manor Hospital, Oxford.

Where are you located?

We are based in Oxford at Manor Hospital, Beech road, OX3 7RP.  Oxford has the benefit of being well located by road, rail, and air for local as well as national and international patients. Parking is available on site. We see many patients travelling from London and The Manor can normally be reached within an hour from central and western London.

We offer world-leading private care for gynaecological conditions. Our friendly and knowledgeable team will help you from first contact, through to appointment booking, the consultation, follow-up testing, and treatments including surgery if needed. Our Practice Manager Hakima Ali and her team will be your first point of contact and help you liaise with your insurers and Nuffield Health for issues like pre-authorisation and bookings.

Most procedure are performed at The Manor Hospital Oxford, Beech Road, OX3 7RP. Our specialists, on occasions, do offer treatments at other locations.

All insured patients will need pre-authorisation and your out-of-pocket (excess) cost will depend on your policy.

Non insured or ‘self paying’ patients will generally pay £300 for a new consult, £450 for a consult with scan, £200 for follow-up and surgical and treatment prices can be provided by our secretary at request. We are legally obliged to provide costs for any care in advance so rest assured there are no hidden charges when having private care with us.

We know that many people self fund their treatment. At The Manor Hospital Oxford, Nuffield have very competitive rates that include many additional options as standard. This commonly includes readmission if there were to be any concerns during recovery.

We want our patients to have truly excellent care in a compassionate and approachable setting. Our job is to provide you with the information and treatment options you need to make an informed choice about managing your health.

We have a longstanding history of providing excellent compassionate care from internationally recognised leaders in their field who also provide routine and complex care in a University Hospital NHS setting (The John Radcliffe, Oxford University Hospitals). We employ the best administrative and practice management colleagues in the industry to make your care with us as seamless and stress-free as possible.

All of your information is held to GDPR and ICO standards on state of the art protected confidential medical records software. When you book your appointment you can confirm with our secretarial team whether you have any security or confidentiality specifications (such as receiving correspondence to a certain email address).

We regularly review our processes and respond to feedback ensuring our services are accessible to all. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We treat patients over the age of 16, and work closely with paediatric colleagues for those younger than 16. There is no upper age limit for either consultations or surgery.

Negative or poor experiences are rare but of course can happen. If any part of your care pathway, either with us, or with our affiliated care providers is not what you expected please let us know via our practice manager (admin@oxfordgynaecology.co.uk) and we will respond within 7 working days or earlier if clinically needed. You can also contact Nuffield Health or the GMC if you do not feel comfortable approaching us directly.

We recognise life can get complicated and emergencies arise. Therefore we do not generally charge a cancellation fee unless there is repeated non-attendance with no notification that you are not able to make it.
